This experience is packed with education, demonstrations, and real client work as you observe how I run my chair, perform consultations, and deliver high-quality haircuts using clippers, scissors, and other tools. The day begins with a short introduction where you can share what you’d like to learn, and you’ll be able to ask questions throughout the day about cutting hair, improving your skills, or running a barbering business. I’ll be working with my clients as usual, whether the day is fully booked or quieter, giving you an authentic look at my techniques and service standards. You’ll also see how I assess different hair types and textures to provide the right advice for each client. This experience is suitable for all levels, whether you’re just starting out or you’re an experienced barber looking to refine your craft and elevate your service. The day typically runs from 9am to 6pm with a lunch break, and all meals will be provided.

I started in the hair business as a manager at a salon in Amersham. As trends in hair fashion kept changing, I worked hard and moved up the ladder, getting better at what I did with each step. Then, I got a chance to train at the famous Vidal Sassoon, where I polished my skills and learned all about the art of hairdressing.
Now, I've set up my own place called the Private Studio in Chesham, a lovely little town in Buckinghamshire. It's a peaceful spot where I focus on doing hair. Every snip and style I do here shows how committed I am to my work. I pay close attention to what each person wants and make sure they leave with a haircut that suits them perfectly.
